Saving Money with Mild Hybrids

Amidst high gas prices, hybrid vehicles can be a great way for drivers to save money. Unbeknownst to many drivers, hybrid technology can often be found in newer vehicles, even if they are not advertised as such. Called a “mild hybrid” system, many newer vehicles—including Jeep Wranglers and Ram pickup trucks—have an electric motor that assists the gas engine when starting from a stop. These mild hybrid systems don’t take up passenger or cargo space and only minimally increase a vehicle’s cost.
